Meet Mrs. Yolanda!

Welcome! I'm Yolanda, a seasoned childcare provider with nearly 40 years of experience, both as a parent and a professional. I know how crucial it is to find a caregiver you can trust, and at Heaven Sent I am committed to providing an inclusive space where your child can be comfortable, learn, and thrive.

I began my career with a licensed childcare home in North Austin before expanding to a commercial facility in East Austin that was licensed for up to 40 children. In addition to staying on top of yearly professional development courses I’ve obtained an Associated degree in Early Childhood Development. At Heaven Sent, I focus on fostering creativity, independence, and overall development through play-based learning in a home-like setting.

Heaven Sent meets and exceeds Texas state regulations, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for children. In addition to running my childcare program, I’ve worked with the Texas Workforce Commission, coaching other childcare providers statewide. My goal is to support families and providers alike in creating the best possible environments for children.
